Breath Analyzers

Breath analyzers measure volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted by cells and/or their enviroments into exhaled breath. By exhaling into the device for a brief 2-3 seconds, an individual’s breath passes through an exposure cell where VOC patterns are absorbed by sensors, each producing a unique signal. Using AI and sophisticated software to analyze and classify signal patterns, this technology identifies disease type and stage in under 2 minutes. Crafted for quick testing, the breath analyzer is optimal for mass screening efforts over brief intervals, especially in primary care environments, general health facilities, or Point-of-Care (PoC) centers. Furthermore, it acts as a proactive search instrument within communities to promote early detection of cancer among asymptomatic people.

Breath analyzers, co-designed by SmartNanoSense Innovation in collaboration with its partners, have been rigorously evaluated on thousands of patients across numerous hospitals worldwide. Through these studies, the team of SmartNanoSense Innovation has provided expert consultation and design input on all aspects of the technology, ensuring the efficacy of breath analyzers in detecting a wide range of cancerous, neurodegenerative, infectious, and inflammatory illnesses.

Studies have shown excellent results for early diagnosis of various disease types, including their earliest stages, with accuracies >86%.
